Mitch King is a singer songwriter and recording artist with a passion for guitar playing. His distinct sound is recognisable by blending singing, guitar, harmonica stomp box and tamborine with most of his original music.
His career began with busking on weekends, which quickly led to performing at festivals, most recently the 2014 Byron Bay Bluesfest, markets and live on the Radio.
His first single titled “Alive” was released in 2012 which has received a great response from the public. He has recently released a film clip of his latest track “Good Life” which will be part of the Album “A Life Under the Sun” to be released later this year.
His sound is constantly evolving and resembles a fusion of pop, blues and folk and has played alongside with the Mason Rack Band and Juzzie Smith.
His creativity and inspiration has been drawn from artists such as John Mayer, Kim Churchill and Jimi Hendrix.
Mitch is occasionally accompanied by his brother Sam King who performs a range of percussion instruments.
